For those of you setting up online shops - the easiest (and cheapest) method of accepting payments is through PayPal. A regular credit card processor is going to charge setup fees and monthly fees which can quickly eat into profits.
With PayPal you basically register with an email address that you want to use for payment and log-in. They also like to have a credit card on file for any payments you want to make to others and/or a checking account to use.
How do you collect your money? It basically is stored in your account with them until you want to withdraw it. At that point you can sweep it into your checking account - or - have them send you a check.
