I'm  looking for a pattern for a wooden basket/planter made of scrap wood (1"x4") pieces. I saw several at a fair in Ellijay GA. this fall, but I can't find a pattern.

Do a google search for free planter patterns. I'm sure you will find it at several of the magazine sites like popular woodworking and such.

Thanks for the kind words. These are very good sellers for me but sure do take alot of time to make. I do them in a variety of woods and it always seems the combination mahagony and maple sell the most.

I like the way the wood just seems to flow and with the colours of the wood ,it gives them a nice 3 dimensional look. they do look very time consuming
nice work :D

Thanks to everyone for your suggestions. The baskets I saw are very similar to your picture, however they came up higher on the sides. I suppose I could continue the pieces up the side.
I'm new to all of this, just learning.
I did try a Google search but didnt find what I'm looking for. :)
