Just wanted to take a minute to say thanks to all that participate in this site and take on the questions and post their photos and commments. I know Spring is here and it will become outdoor time with the lawns and other activities so there will be less visits to the sites. I have done what I could to help keep this site alive and useful with info and appreciate the help of you all and hopefully we can continue to add new members and have them jump in as well. So while there is still somewhat of an audience I would like to offer my pat on the backs to all. I know I am not a winter person so I look forward to the nicer warm weather and I might even do something I used to do years gone by and that is set up my scroll saw outdoors and maybe even my lathe and do a little outdoor woodworking. I will say this the lighting is sure better. And saw dust is not much of an issue. It was fun when I used to do it and in fact I used to get the neighbors stopping by a little too much so I sort of got away from it. Anyway Thanks again. Hope you all won't just disappear. :)

John such a very thoughtful post, you done very good. I do agree with your comments about those who do particpate wheather they are asking for help or passing their knowledge to others. Only the members can keep this site rolling as it is.
John a very SPECIAL THANKS to you for what you are doing for this forum and I know we all hope you continue your outstanding particpation.
I am sure as you say many of us will slow down on the scrolling with summer coming right around the corner. We have 10 acrea here and plant a large vegie garden, got to catch some walleye and perch and Mary and I are semi retired and we have a couple extended motorhome trips for this summer.
So thank you everyone here for being part of a wonderful site. :)

I will ring in and say thanks to everyone here. There are lots of woodworking sites on the internet, but this is the one I feel comfortable asking all my silly questions!
This is an excellent site, but what makes the site excellent, is of couse, the people.
I truly think that if it wasn't for the help I got on this site, I would have quit scrolling..... (piece of junk delta saw!!!) ....
I've already mentioned that I will be fly fishing just as soon as the lakes open up, and while I think I will slow down in the shop, my daily routine will still include a visit here. Can I post pics of fish instead of woodworking?

My 2% of a dollar.
After Steebar changed hands and Dean left as admin, John stepped up to the plate and kept things going. I have talked with John and he is a humble man who doesn't really like a lot a praise and keeps in the background - but -
WAY TO GO, JT :)  :D ;) :o :D

I agree with Fred 110% percent, while I have dropped off on my once daily posts, I am always either reading this forum or scrollsawing on my clock project(which is taking longer than I expected due to SCHOOL   :( )

I have not been on this site for very long, but J.T. you do keep the topics intresting and very informative as well. I plan on posting throughout the summer since it stays hot @ 9-10 months of the year here anyway.

Gee, when I started this thread I was not looking for accolades for me but to thank you all who have helped me and continue to help me keep this site going for I still believe it is one of the best on the net to get info and share pictures. There are so many visitors that come here to check the site out and look through the galleries and of course I wish they would register and join in but you can't force people.
Fred and others thank you for the kind words toward me but like I said before this site is not about one individual it is about us all helping one another and having a little fun doing it. I will continue to do what I can to help as I know you all will too so let us enjoy. Thanks Again and Happy Scrolling.

JT; Since I just joined this site, I have been impressed. I must say it is busy and well ordered. It is a pleasure to participate in. That is a reflection on you and all of the participants. Thank You. (PS -I had the same idea about scrolling outside, some days are just too nice to be in the bsmt!) Bob :D
