My $29.00 steady rest arrived in the mail at noon today. Of course I just had to go out to my shop and try turning a hollow form with it. ;)
So I made my first H F vase. It sure helped a lot to have the outer end supported while hollowing it out.
I took two pictures of the same vase. This thing looks different from every angle.
I am going to a 4 hour craft sale Sat morning from 10.00 AM until 2.00PM.
I will take this along with me. It might be good for getting some conversation going if nothing else.

Lynn;

Just curious.

don't think I am one of the Lynns. However, when I know what WWF is then I could tell you for sure. (this shows how much I don't know about the web)

Happy turning
:p

Hi Lynn;
I refrain from direct linking to WW sites of interest in order to comply with some sites rules of conduct unless the nature of the topic is such that others are doing the same thing in a given topic and then fair is only fair.

Therefore , seeing as this is a turning topic, I sent you a PM with the link to my site.

Cheers.
