Been away from the site for a few days and have been able to get back now and just checked the posts and find not much chatter. Where did everyone go already?? Is it the vacation season already?? Or did we all run out of questions and everyone now knows everything about woodworking?? Anyway hope everyone is doing well and your projects are coming along. :)

Been super busy myself. Getting restocked for the fall shows. Think I have about 48 maps to make. Plus, Judy and I are getting ready to go on vacation to Alaska around July 1st (be gone about a month) - Soooooooooo - I will loose a lot of shop time - however - going to take the scrollsaw with me for those inclement days.
Glad to see ya back, John. :)

Good to see some regular names show up and good to see things are going well and all are busy. NDtroll, Dave you do have alot going on fella. Let us know how the show went and will be looking forward to the new clocks. Kris, enjoy the fishing, sounds like fun. Joe, I assume your school days are becoming numbered so you will have more time to scroll soon so we expect to see new things from you. Enjoy the summer. Fred, what can I say but keep up the great work you are putting out and enjoy those new toys you have. A southern boy mixing in with Eskimos, now that should be fun.

I still check in regular, but with the sun out and the fish biting, I haven't been in my shop for a couple of weeks. Was actually thinking about heading out there this afternoon.
Are you taking your new home away from home Fred? If so, what route are you taking?

I have been away also and here's my excuse :D although I posted it it in another topic here.
I just got back form participating in a 8 day bluegrass musical festival in Montana and therefore have not posted anything here for a while. Had a wonderful time just a pickin' and a grinnin' and singin'. Go to bed listening to music and wake up listening to it although I generally called it a day around 2 AM. It generally goes on about 20 hours a day but one day the music went non stop for over 24 hours. Free camping and hundreds of great friends from both Canada and USA gathered in one big event called *Pasture Pickin'*. A great time was had by all and we got our musical batteries charged up again and just waiting for the next time <G>.
Music is one of the best stress relievers known to man.Even more so than scrolling.
I think Everyone needs to have several hobbys. I know a few that only have one interest in their life and for them I feel very sorry because they no not what they are missing .

John:
Still check in regularly.
With the weather turning good I have been busy taking down our above ground swimming pool and surrounding wooden deck. We have had the pool for the last 20 years but for the last 3 it has attracted the interest of rodents. No matter what I do they still burrow under and the next thing I know the water level starts to go down faster then "sun drink". We finally gave up after 2 new liners. SCORE: Rodents 2, Jerry 0.
I have to get a dumpster to get rid of the pool and deck so you know what that means, CLEAN OUT ATTICS, CELLAR AND SHEDS.
My shop time has been minimal but hope to pick up the pace soon.
Good to have you back John.

Well I see some more familar names and ones I haven't seen in awhile so it is always good to chat with friends. I see Bill has made it back safely. Jerry, good to see you are still here and keeping busy. I do know what you mean about the pool because my brother took his down about 5 years ago for the same reason and he just put up a sun room in its place this past winter so he says he will enjoy that more. A pool is alot of upkeep also. Now a name from the past, Timbertodd, good to see you back here as well. Should we take this change in employment as a semi-retired state?? If so that is great and good luck with your next position. Hope everything is going well. Don't be a stranger stop by any time.

John,
Well like alot of the others I have been checking the site a few times a week. Between work and my honey to do list and the sunny weather. I dont seem to have enough time in a day.
Last month we empty our storage shed and I had an order of 70 cedar drum frames due on the 19th of this month and then the better half seen a new home she wanted so between everything else we move also before the first of this month.
Also, aded anew addition to the family....a 4month old golden lab to our other two a cocker spanial, maltees. Wood working is alot more relaxing then anything I have done in the last month. Great to be back.
