i have a clock that has a label that says colonial manufacturing company model #1720. this clock is a tall clock 6ft.8in. and has mechanical movements, gears, etc.I am not sure but i think the movement could be a winterhalder&hoffmeir germany. The clock does not work yet. I would like to find a part list and repair infomation if possible. I am new to scrollsawing and would like to learn clockrepair, i think this might be a good place to start.
Thanks

Dogman:
Start here:
http://www.bhi.co.uk/oldindex.htm
If you look around this site, you will find a lot of write ups (white papers) on the subject of clocks and clock design.
Then Google for: Old Clock repair
You should get a few hits for web stores selling clock repair parts.
Hope this helps
