Been toying around the shop the past few days and playing with my latest toy my Jet mini lathe. I am currently working on some ornaments and found I like to use my scrapers alot to shape some projects. My question is when the bur on a scraper gets past the point where I can not revive it with a slip stone how do you all put the burr back on. Do you sharpen with the tool right side up or upside down?? I figure you have to use the flat shoe and set it at the proper angle but not sure which way would give the proper burr on the edge. Thanks for the resposes in advance.
