spray adhesive and patterns

I'm sure that everyone has been told time and again not to spray adhesive on the wood you are going to apply your pattern to, BUT what if you do? I do it intintally sometimes to keep my pattern really stuck to the wood and use as a template for things I'm planning to cut several of, but yesterday I did it by mistake s-o-o-o-o-o-o, I grabed some of the fine dust from under my scrollsaw table and rubbed it onto the wood on top of the adhesive, let it dry for a few minutes , then I used my random orbit sander and sanded the wood surface smooth.

Sounds like you got it covered really well. I probably would not have thought so quickly with the sawdust trick. :)
