If you are looking for accuracy when setting up your tablesaw or bandsaw or jointer, or miter saw here is a tool for you. http://www.wixey.com/anglegauge/index.html

I bought one a few days ago and after a few trials I found it to be dead on accurate and is easy to use. It will give the tools I mentioned dead on accuracy. I made test cuts and they proved it to be true. It is very reasonable for such a device and in my opinion well worth the money. I went around to my tools and what I thought was dead on using machinist squares and draftsman angles, I found they were not. Just thought I would share this with all because it has become the rave of the woodworking industry. Wixey also sells other measuring devices so check their site.

I was following a thread about the Wixey in another site that is now 4 pages long with 41 responses so far . I was curious if it would work on a scroll saw with the tiny blade for setting it 90 degrees to the table.
I was wondering if it needed more mass of steel than a thin scroll saw blade e.g. wide band saw blade or jointer or circular saw blade. I asked about that So one guy tried it on his scroll saw and he said it works good.
Seems like $36.00 US delivered with no S/H charges in USA is a pretty good deal. Havn't decided whether to get one or not. There are several ways to set up a scrollsaw blade to 90 degrees and a high quality steel square works pretty good on the bigger stuff. Nice little gizmo for anyone that feels they need the latest thing on the market .

Seems like you paid a little too much for yours John if you ordered it from the link provided.

It is also available in Canada for $49.00 which includes the dollar exhange rate but does not include S/H. Anyone in USA or close to the boder in Canada gets a better deal having it sent to a USA address from one of the USA suppliers.
