Here are the perfume applicators you asked to see.
Left to right is lacewood , purpleheart , cherry burl , canarywood , spalted appalation walnut , and holly.
Every piece was free donated wood.
I was just playing around with different shapes for my first six of these and I much prefer the shape of the cherry burl one. I am ordering another dozen kits and most of then will be made in that approximate shape. It was the first one to sell followed by a couple others.
I only have about 20 more blanks of that cherry burl. Wish I had 100 because it sells very well in pens as well.

Thanks for sharing, they are beautiful. I thought the one on the right was Holly, thanks for confirming. My brother is bringing me some up from Florida, it will be interesting to see how that compares to your stock. I also was given a cherry burl recently (the whole beast) that I have yet to attack.. I hope it is a nice as what you are working with.

Hope he brings you a nice bunch of holly. It is wonderful wood to work with. It is a lot whiter than what my crappy photography shows.
Have fun disecting your cherry burl. I love working with that stuff but it isn't easy to find .
