View Full Version : Horizontal Pen drilling jig for SS

Here is a pic of a pen jig I use on my SS.

it is made from a scrap piece of cabinet grade plywood same thickness as the SS feather board and utilizes the hold down from my feather board.

This works really great if you are working with same thickness blanks and don't need to adjust the blank hold down.

pay no attention to the dado on the bottom of the jig as I said this was made from scrap.

Sure would like to see some photos of this jig in action.

I'm interested in getting into activities that make better use of my Shopsmith and this might be a start. I have never been a turner and I have never assembled a pen. These facts make it difficult for me to envision how this jig might be used.
