I am in the market, (at last), for a trailer.... I usually load all my displays in my truck, haul them to the event and set up.... then its back home to load up all the merchandise and go back and set up.... always means a double load and unload each event.
I have a guy who is going to make me a trailer out of an old chrysler minivan. (the idea seems sound). He cuts the front end off, in front of the fire wall... bends the frame and adds a hitch and jack to the front. Everything in the minivan is gutted . I will then have a minvan shell-trailer with two front doors , at least one side door and a back door for loading and organizing
His ultimate goal is to find me a newer van with power doors. If he can find one, he will leave the wiring harness in and add a deep cycle battery... in theory I could have a minivan trailer with power sliding side doors and a power lift gate. We'll see what he comes up with.
