Gemini Pen kit

Has anyone out there experienced some frustration in assembling the "Gemini" pens? I have ruined two complete pens trying to assemble the rear mechanism. The problem appears to be the sleeve holder and the mechanism sleeve. I am not sure how far that assembly gets pushed down that barrel. It can be pushed only so far before the plastic starts to collapse or break. What am I doing wrong?

I have never made one of these pens so I don't know first hand but if you click on the header on top for "Pen Supplies " , then click Gemeni , then scroll down , there is a very good assembly instruction sheet there . Pretty detailed descriptions , maybe that will be of some help .

That's what I did. Unfortunatly, the instructions on assembly are not that clear or in error for the parts supplied. They are thr same instructions posted on Penn State, word for word. Thank you for taking an intrest.
