Lowe's Delta Tools

I was reading on another forum that Lowes is getting out of Delta tool line and is discounting all power tools. They are now going to take on Jet tools. Was wondering if anyone has seen this or has taken advantage of this??? If they do get Jet, I wonder if they will carry the ever popular Jet Lathe line. :confused:

Hey, Just returned from local (Ohio) Lowes store & have seen very few products in the Delta line, and none at discount $. As for carrying the Jet line of products, "it's news to me" said the tool department sales guy. Maybe it's best to wait and see if Lowes has a "final closeout" of Delta tools.

Yeh, know what you mean about their sales guys. Found the Jet Air Filtration system that I wanted on their web site. Printed it out and went to the store. No got. Went to two more before a gy "in the know" actually took the time to look it up and told me that it was an Internet item only. OK - I ordered it and, to my surprise, found out that shipping is free. Ya gotta like "free".
