I would like to build a portable spray booth, if any of you have built one or know where I can get plans I would appreciate them.
Also any comments on results of using a booth.

Thanks, Dave

Be VERY CAUTIOUS building a spray booth. Most homeade ones fail to use a sealed motor and fan unit which can easily cause an explosion.
Several years back I looked in to building one and found that cost wise to do it the "right" way it wasn't worth it. I found several online that were expensive but money well worth spending.
Most Shop Vacs are not sealed motors and may cause a fire.
Good luck

Thanks for getting back to me with these ideas. What ever I decide to do I will keep the safety issue number one.

Dawata,
I just checked and mine is a Paasche. It is called a portable booth and I found it online for a huge discount. It is actually foldable and was shipped quickly. It is also quiet. If you check online in Model Train stuff you will find that there is a lot of talk about the booths. Cost wise I found it much easier to go out and get one rather than build.
Huge difference once I was up and running. Vents to the outside through a simple dryer vent.
I added a little light to mine and can see projects easily.
Have fun
