Hello Jay

Welcome to the site. I see this is your first post so a big welcome is in order. I hope you stop by and give us a little insight to the life of JAYBIRD. Maybe tell us what you do and your hobbys and also what lathe you have. Things of this nature so we get to know you. We are a very friendly bunch and love to share ideas and photos.

As far as your question goes I hope others can help on this one because I do not deal with paypal. I do know this that there are quite afew pen supply dealers on Ebay and they handle paypal but I have no experience with them. I am sure someone will come along and have some input.

hey Jaybird

Firstly - welcome aboard. Tell us about urself, post some pictures of stuff you do (as JT says "We love pictures")

2nd - Hmmmmmmmmm folks taking payPal - tough question. I know that I have found only one woodworking supplier that will accept the PayPal type of payment - and he doesn't sell anything for pens

At one time I took PayPay. Not anymore; due to almost double the fee they started to charge, compared to other credit cards.

To answer your question better I asked it on a pen turning site and this is some of the answers I got so I am passing them on to you and as I get more I will post them.

Ernie at Bear Tooth Woods does for Berea products (higher end stuff),

You can get a PayPal Debit card, then get 1% back from all your purchases. Then everybody takes PayPal then.

Hope this helps. Do not know how the debit card works but that sounds like the best bet and get money back also.

There are several ways of posting pictures. Here is one way by Rollajohn
Image Posting

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If you haven't found this thread yet, here is a discussion of how to with various photo hosting sites. http://www.woodworkingcrafts.com/in...read.php?t=1761

What I would suggest because this has been talked about many times and it can get quite long, scroll to the top of each page and you will see a brown line with a number of buttons. Click on the search button and type in related words such as "posting photos" "adding pictures" and so on. You will get old posts that should help you. If you still have problems let us know and we will definetly help you get the hang of this site.

Very nice pictures and yes they would be too large to post in the message. If you would like you can start your own albumn and post them in the Gallery section here. Just scroll to the top of the page and under the heading Banner click on Photo Gallery and follow your nose from there. If you have questions just ask will be glad to help.

You dabble in all sorts of woodworking as the pictures show. We have a person here that loves wooden trucks and he would enjoy seeing those that you made. His name is Wisconsinwoodchuck. Nice work all around.

Jay, I noticed your home location says Jersey shore, Pa. Is that a town in pennsylvania??
