Has Anyone Ever???

Has anyone ever done a high end art or craft show??? I am talking where the customers are really rich. Maybe one where there is artsy stuff and sculptures and things. And if so what was your experience???

the closest I did was a show last fall. It was an invite only show and admission for the public was $25.00 per person. That did include Hor deurve's and champagne. I only displayed my upper end clocks and wildlife scenes.
I did OK compared to the number of people who attended.
Most of them were to interested in the food and drink and also mingling with the others and did little spending. Some did not even look at the booths, About 35 of us there.
I may do it again this fall .... we'll see

Thanks for answering. At least they spent $25 for snacks. I hope you do better next time. Maybe it is a deal where you have to be seen a few times. Maybe you should put a limited edition of something out there and it might draw attention. People like that love to have things others do not own. I think Jeff Z. mentions something like that in one of his articles.
