Below is an email I recieved from my father Inlaw concerning computer engraving on a gunstock.

Attached are two pictures. The one is a computer engraving on a gunstock just so you understand what I'm talking about. The Team Abrams logo is the one we want put on a gun. See if you can come up with some leads on people who do this stuff. From what I understand there is no industry standard pricing for this type of work which is good because the one price I did get was $400 for a 3" high image of the team logo and the words, TEAM ABRAMS, like in the picture. I do think I am going to need a better computer ready image than the one I have here for them to work with.

I attached two files one is of a gun stock that as been engraved and the other is what is need engraved on a gun stock

I appreciate anything you can come up with.

Nice pattern. Actually that price does not sound that bad. Did you try trophy shops. They use computer engravers. How about laser engravers. I see a guy at craft shows all the time with engrave pictures that were done with a laser engraver. Other than that I am sorry.

Thanks for the response, I finally got a response back from my father inlaw. Go figure he found a guy in Seattlle Washington. Check out his work his web site address is below. Below is the email message I got from my father inlaw. :)

Found a hot shot professional in Seattle to do the job for $200.00. All hand carved. Click on his URL and check him out.

Not bad, half the price. Looks like this guy does some really nice work. Is your father-in-law happy with the work??

That would be nice to see a photo. Tell him he has to because he piqued some interest here. :)
