Also, get a copy of Creative Woodworking - they always have clock patterns in there. A company that has a lot of clock patterns is Wildwood Designs.
Happy cutting

First let me welcome you to the site. Glad you found us and good to see you are doing what we encourage everyone to do and that is jump right in and ask questions or contribute in any way shape or form. We have a bunch of very nice people here and will be glad to help.
Now you say you are new to scrolling and want to make clocks. Good for you. They are always good sellers at craft shows. The site www.wildwooddesigns.com was suggested as a great source of patterns. This is true but is also tru to be a good source to see some of these clocks and to be able to pick ones that interest you. Being new you first need to learn to use your saw properly and to learn the prper techniques so they will become second nature. For this I highly recommend a beginners book and a good one is by John Nelson. Fox Chapel has these books so go to their web site and check them out or go to your library and you will find many books on scrollsawing. While you are at Wildwoods designs check out the galleries listed on the left side of the page. You can also go here and check out the galleries here. There is a section on clocks. But actually all the sections are great and help get the juices flowing.
You mentioned about learning about antiques and repairs. Here is a very good web site and you can get DVD's http://ticktockpro.com/ A very big name in the scrollsaw business is John Nelson and he remakes patterns of many old time clocks " THE ADVANCED SCROLL SAW CLOCKS " book also at Fox is a good example. You can also get more info from him the master at his site http://www.scrollsawcentral.com/
Hope this helps and when more questions start coming up please ask away. Glad to help when we can And am sure you will get many more replys to help you enjoy this great hobby. One more thing being new you may want to try some of the best scroll saw blades on the market. The Flying Dutchman blades and you can get them from Mike M. at www.mikeworkshop.com
