I have read through and looked for help on this but cant find anything that helps. I saw the links to event locators and all that told me was that there was a dumb computer convention in Atlanta. Is there any way to find a craft show? I hear people talking all about them and how they go weekly and everything but I cant even find one. I dont have anything to sell yet but want to go to see prices and what some people are working on and what sells and what doesnt.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Good Question Joe,
I had the same problem, I finally found someone who enters in the craft fair and she hooked me up. I guess it would depend on where you live, whether you live in a big city or a little town.
I would suggest that you keep an eye on the newspapers and in particular the classified section, that might give you a lead. Talk to people in your area and see if they know of any place that has a weekly event.

As Deanna mentioned watch the newspapers especially in the winter months starting around October and also the spring. There are many street fairs in the summer that people do well at. You can also do a GOOGLE search and you will find sites that list craft shows in different states. There are many publications out there that have the listings of the shows if they were submitted. good luck and hope to see some of your work as you progress.

I have used craftlister. I was invited to several shows while doing my first show this last November. Just be careful, like scrolling they too can become addictive.

Yes - they can addictive if:
1. You sell a lot
2. Booth space isn't too expensive
3. It doesn't rain all day
4. You have enough product
just my humble opinion

I bet there is an ad in your local paper. Do a google for woodworking shows and you will see a list.
